  • If you have a fever, cough or shortness of breath and need care, please call your personal physician, as a first step. We recommend if you have symptoms, you should stay home and avoid exposing others until you can talk with a doctor.
  • Madison Medical Affiliates is offering TeleHealth visits with our providers through Ascension Online Care. Please call our office to schedule a TeleHealth visit.
  • New temporary visitor rules have been implemented to try to decrease the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and to keep our patients, families, care teams and the communities we serve safe. At this time, facilities near you may be restricting visitors. Please contact us before visiting.
  • If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency or difficulty breathing, go directly to the ER or dial 911.

Madison Medical welcomes ophthalmologists Kenneth Fabric, M.D., Fred Shafrin, M.D. and Thomas Bloom, M.D. to their team of reputable physicians

(MILWAUKEE, WI) May 31, 2019—Madison Medical Affiliates is pleased to welcome Kenneth Fabric, M.D., Fred Shafrin, M.D. and Thomas Bloom, M.D. to our growing practice. The ophthalmology specialists will be accepting new patients at Madison Medical Eyecare – Glendale, located at 5150 N. Port Washington Road, Suite 251.

Dr. Kenneth Fabric received his medical degree from Marquette University School of Medicine where he also completed his residency in Ophthalmology. He has over 40 years of experience as a practicing Ophthalmologist in Milwaukee. Dr. Fred Shafrin received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of South Florida in 1982. Dr. Thomas Bloom received his medical degree from Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He specializes in small incision cataract surgery and sees patients for general eye exams, glaucoma, diabetes and macular degeneration. Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Doctors Fabric, Shafrin and Bloom provide a full spectrum of comprehensive eye care for children and adults.
