Madison Medical Affiliates & Ascension are working together to keep our community healthy during this time and prevent the spread of infection while also offering options for easier access to care.

  • If you have a fever, cough or shortness of breath and need care, please call your personal physician, as a first step. We recommend if you have symptoms, you should stay home and avoid exposing others until you can talk with a doctor.
  • Madison Medical Affiliates is offering TeleHealth visits with our providers through Ascension Online Care. Please call our office to schedule a TeleHealth visit.
  • New temporary visitor rules have been implemented to try to decrease the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and to keep our patients, families, care teams and the communities we serve safe. At this time, facilities near you may be restricting visitors. Please contact us before visiting.
  • If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency or difficulty breathing, go directly to the ER or dial 911.

Madison Medical welcomes ophthalmologist Lisa Bennett, M.D. to our growing practice

(MILWAUKEE, WI) July 29, 2019—Madison Medical Affiliates is pleased to welcome Lisa Bennett, M.D. to our growing practice. The ophthalmology specialist will be accepting new patients beginning August 12th, 2019 at Madison Medical Eye Care – Mequon, located at 10320 N. Port Washington Road.

"I am very excited to welcome Dr. Bennett to the practice," said Kevin Behl, Executive Director of Madison Medical Affiliates. "Her extensive clinical experience and fresh outlook on patient-focused care make her a great asset to our comprehensive eye care team.”

Dr. Lisa Bennett is a board-certified Ophthalmologist who graduated summa cum laude at the University of Minnesota and earned her medical degree with honors at Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago, NorthShore Hospital and a residency in Ophthalmology at Saint Louis University. Dr. Bennett is experienced in cataract surgery, astigmatism correction and refractive surgery, including blade-free LASIK and PRK. She also manages patients with glaucoma, macular degeneration and dry eyes. Dr. Bennett is on staff at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Hospital where she performs minimally-invasive cataract surgery and laser treatments for glaucoma, diabetes and secondary cataracts.
